Dog Days [Intermediate]

KarenSensei

Dogs are known to be a man's best friend. As an owner of 8 dogs, I can testify to this

They are loving, loyal and very goofy. If you ever have a bad day, all you have to do is look at a dog in the eyes and all your frustration will melt away. Honestly, I can stare at them until the cows come home if I don't have anything else to do. For this reason, I'm enjoying working from home more and more. Even though I don't let them into my office, it still brings me comfort to know they are right next door

In fact, more and more big companies like Google and Amazon are letting animals into the office in order to promote a stress-free work environment.

I read a newspaper article recently. It says that the Kawasaki branch of Fujitsu is allowing its employees to bring their pets to work. This is an effort to entice workers to come back to the office. During the pandemic, many workers were working from home. However, now that those days are gone, people are far from being eager beavers about coming back to the office. Many pet owners are reluctant to leave their pets at home. In preparation for this, Fujitsu has assigned a special area lined with stain-proof carpet for the animals to run around in. I think this is a great step forward for Japan, although I'm sure many animal-averse employees would feel otherwise. Cat or dog allergy is not uncommon after all.

What do you guys think about this move? Can you tell me some problems that may arise from this decision?
