What makes you feel that summer has finally arrived?

Weekly Topic: What makes you feel that summer has finally arrived?

Svitlana Deikalo

Summer is finally here - my favorite season.
July is outside.
You can walk through the meadow, inhaling the aromas of meadow herbs and flowers. To lie on them, looking at the sky, where clouds float and birds fly by. Admire the beauty of a shiny bronze butterfly crawling in the grass, bright butterflies fluttering in the air, and a bumblebee flying over the flowers. Contemplating how a hardworking bee sits on a flower and diligently collects nectar. Listen to the song of larks and swallows. It is especially pleasant to watch the swifts, which cheerfully and friendly chase insects, like little black planes.

Everyone is minding their own business, especially the ants, who are constantly expanding their mound dwellings. And in the evening it is very pleasant to listen to the singing of crickets, which resembles a beautiful magical song. When it gets dark, it's interesting to look at the starry night sky, find the Milky Way, and wait for the star to fall to make your cherished wish.

People work in the fields, taking care of the harvest, in the gardens, taking care of the plants. And even in the summer, you can gather with friends around a bonfire, bake potatoes on it, grill kebabs and sing your favorite songs to the guitar.

Summer is a wonderful time when you want to create something, dream about the future, enjoy the warm sun, bask in the silky grass, admire the beauty of flowers, and rejoice in the harvest of vegetables and fruits.

Summer in Ukraine came with berries in the forest. I went to pick blueberries at the weekend. Berries in the forest - finally warm summer has come!!!
