What do you eat when you have a cold? 【Japanese folk remedies】

Emi M

It seems that influenza is prevalent this year.

As the weather gets colder, more people catch a cold or feel unwell, but many people are reluctant to take medicine right away.

When I think, "Huh? Maybe I caught a cold...", I always drink Umeboshi Green Tea. The plums are homemade at our house. I always have green tea on hand at home, so it's easy to make.

This time, I made a video with the theme of folk remedies when you catch a cold.
The wisdom of ancient people is amazing.

At the end of the video, we introduced some folk remedies from around the world. There are a lot of ways to deal with things like "Is this true?" "Does this work?".

Trivia

There are many scenes in Japanese manga where people eat porridge when they have a cold.

However, it seems that some families have a habit of eating udon when they have a cold. It is especially common in the Kansai region.

It's true that udon warms your body and is good for digestion.

But I don't eat much udon when I have a cold.

My nose is stuffy, so I can't slurp down the noodles properly.
