What are you going to do in 2024? Pre intermediate Grammar for New Year's Resolutions.

Weekly Topic: New Year, New Skills: Learning Opportunities in 2024

Thirzah

When the new year starts what will you do?
We use future forms to talk about our plans for the future.
This time of year a lot of people talk about the things they will do or change in their lives.

Remind yourself of the grammar and try to write some sentences.

New Year's resolutions are how we speak about what we will do or change in the coming year.
Look at the examples in the box above and create your own.

In the next task check the sentences for mistakes then check your work. You might find some extra inspiration to add to your plans for the future.

Here are some categories to practice with. You could create more resolutions for yourself or an imaginary person, family member or friend.

If you would like to continue to work on future forms or talk about New Year's resolutions then book a lesson with me.

Happy New Year.

I look forward to helping you to improve your English.
Best wishes for the future,
Thirzah
