Takeout, chain, obesity

Description

Takeout- food that is cooked and sold by a restaurant but eaten somewhere else

Chain-
a group of shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. owned by the same person or company

Obesity-
the state of being very overweight

Anton: Its awful that a child these days think that a a takeout is actually a meal.

Kay: I agree.  I have just been on a trip to the US and had first hand experience about that.

Anton: Really? How did you witness it?

Kay: Well I went to a restaurant chain called Chick Fil-A and saw so many families coming there for dinner.  A couple had a 2 year old eating some fries and considered that a meal at night.  I really felt sorry for their daughter.

Anton: I know and this is the mindset a child is brought up to and consider it a normal behavior to teach to the next generations after that.

Kay: Obesity has always been a problem for the US because of the working class behaviors that fast food is so accessible and cheap. The marketing of processed food as normal and nutritious is also popular in all kinds of medias.

Anton: I still believe in buying simple ingredients, cooking and serving it hot and fresh.

Kay: I totally agree!
