The consonant sounds of /l/ and /r/ can be especially difficult for some to produce accurately. This lesson will help you to identify the issues and how to address them.

Description

This lesson will be particularly helpful for Japanese students aiming to improve their pronunciation of the consonant sounds /l/ and /r/.

These sounds in English are quite different to the Hiragana pronunciation and this lesson will help to understand what the differences are and how to produce the sounds accuratel, in English.

The lesson will be a mixture of fun (challenging) exercises and a focus upon specific skills needed to solve this challenge and is aimed at all skill levels, beginner thorugh to advanced.

The major benefits of this lesson are that students will be able to remove the incorrect pronunciation (through practice), improve fluency and sound more native-like. Listening skills and how they can be improved will also be addressed in this lesson.

Audios and written examples shall be provided to assist the student after class along with full feedback and follow-up work.
