Nouns and Determiners, Pronouns, Adjectives, Questions, Building Sentences and Verbs
Description
This lesson focuses on the most important areas of English Grammar, it will assist you to remove the possible mistakes done by many English learners.
Firstly, the student is introduced to usage of the Positive and Negative forms applying nouns in the construction of sentences as well as usage of determiners.
To curb the problem of wrong usage of the tenses, for example usage of verbs in the past tense in a sentence that is relevant in the future e.g I wish your exam went well tomorrow. Making sure such situations are explained in detail and the difference between formal and informal situations is illustrated so that there is further understanding of grammar.
Secondly, the student has to be able to construct sentences that is, simple, compound and complex and understand the tenses of these sentences, application of the right tense and the meaning of each tense in its own right. As such more vocabulary of everyday verbs is given as part of the sentence construction process. A short comprehension paragraph is read to implement the ability to notice what tenses are in which mode and how these are usable in real life situations. This will assist in improving listening as well as being able to strengthen language usage ability.
