Modern English is actually far more diverse than most people assume. The pieces of root words that make up complex English words are derived from other languages such as French, German, Spanish, and even dead languages like Latin.
Etymology is the study of the origin of words and the way in which their meanings have changed throughout history.
In this lesson, I will help you have a better grasp of not just English but different root terms that are based in other languages. There may be some history involved.
