Together, we will proofread a 200 word text (written by you before the lesson). While you follow along, I will check your writing for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and other inaccuracies. Next, I will rewrite your text as a Native English speaker.
Description
Have your writing corrected live and learn how to write more like a native English speaker in this personalised lesson!
To prepare for this lesson, please write a short text of between 200-300 words, which you will present to me at the start of the lesson.
After this lesson, you will have two texts which you can review to improve your future writing. You will understand which mistakes you made, how they should be corrected, and how a native speaker would have written your text.
The lesson will look like this:
1. Introducing Your Text
When we begin, you will briefly tell me what your text is about (you will not read it yet).
2. Assessment
Next, I will read the first sentence out loud for you while highlighting any changes that need to be made in terms of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and other inaccuracies.
3. Correction
I will then rewrite the sentence with corrections and we will discuss the changes.
We will repeat this for each sentence.
4. Reading Out Loud 1
When we have checked all the sentences, you will read the corrected text out loud to me.
5. Native Rewrite
Finally, I will rewrite the text in the way a Native English speaker would have written it, to help you learn how to write more authentically.
6. Reading Out loud 2
You will then read the native-checked text out loud to me as well, at the end of the lesson.
Trial Lesson:
In the trial lesson, we will use a text of 100 words written by you, which you will present to me at the start of the trial lesson.
Important:
- Each lesson includes detailed feedback.
- Lessons are conducted in English, with Korean used to supplement your learning (if you are a Korean speaker).
