Welcome to my Business Vocabulary and Idioms course! ? My name is Hind, and I'm an online English teacher with over 12 years of experience. I hold a CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) qualification and have taught in various settings
I've extensively used various educational tools in my teaching, and I've found ESL Brains' interactive presentations particularly effective for teaching Business English. Before committing to any specific material, I encourage new students to reach out for a consultation or an informal chat. It's essential to ensure that our teaching approach aligns with your learning goals.
In addition to using ESL Brains' interactive presentations, I assign extra homework that involves writing about your weekly experiences or any business-related topic of interest. This not only provides an opportunity to practice writing but also sets the stage for speaking practice during our lessons. You can read your written work aloud, allowing us to focus on pronunciation and flow. Following that, we can discuss potential improvements to grammar or vocabulary.
While this homework is entirely optional, it has proven to be a highly successful exercise enjoyed by many students. You have the flexibility to write as much or as little as you'd like. Moreover, if you have work-related material, such as presentations or emails, feel free to share them for personalized feedback and improvement.
