Q: I'm not flexible. Can I still do this class?
A: Yes yes yes! This lesson is aimed at beginners to front splits or those that want to learn the foundation stretches for the splits either for dance or for your own achievements. I expect you not to be flexible!
Q: I don't think I'll ever be flexibile because I'm not young anymore.
A: Whilst our recovery time is longer as we get older, your muscles are still capable of stretching. In fact, with a regular stretching program, it can help lengthen your muscles and make daily acitivities easier and more enjoyable.
Q: What stretches are in the class?
We will go through stretches that target all the muscles needed for the front splits. I will explain and demonstrate each pose for you. Poses can be adjusted for your body. Warm up and cool down is also provided.
Q: How long will it take me to get my splits?
A: Everyone is different but with regular stretching (3 or more times a week) the average person can get their splits in 6-8weeks. In my class we can take progress photos to track every improvement made!
Q: Why learn the splits?
A: Because it's a cool party trick ;)
