Hi there!

Thank you for checking my profile. I'm Mandy, a language tutor with 14 years of experience. I am the founder of Goen Academy and currently working on my own Japanese textbook. My strengths include understandings of practical Japanese and efficient studying method which will help you learn easily and speak naturally.  
 
Currently, I am providing IB Japanese Course for High School Students. Moreover, as an experienced JLPT trainer, I also provide intensive JLPT (N5, N4, N3, N2) Preparation Courses year-round.  Each of my language course includes free E-textbooks, workbooks, feedback and mock tests if necessary. 
 
Beginners, Kids and High school students are highly welcomed! 

1. Individualized lesson plans
 
Lesson plans will be made to fit each student. I make sure all of my lesson plans are the most suitable for my learners.
 
2. Student Care
 
There will be no more than 4 students in my class. I'd love to keep my class size small so that every student can raise their voices and is taken care of. Student is the core of my tutoring service.
 
3.  It's not only about language. It's about culture.
 
Language and culture are strongly related to each other. Culture is reflected in language. I'd love to share the experience I had when living in Japan to help you understand/ remember the languages easily.
 
4. Last but not least, I understand the challenges that Japanese brings about
 
I know what you find hard to understand. I know your questions even before you ask. I have the answer for you if you need one.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
