The life of Dr. Hideyo Noguchi born in Inawashiro, Fukushima.
Description
‘Tooki Radujitsu’ , a biographical novel written by Junichi Watanabe
is a story of Dr. Hideyo Noguchi,
world famous bacteriologist.
This novel has been made into a film
in 1992.
The story is about surprising character of Dr. Noguchi,
his mother Shika’s deep affection to him and people who believed in his talent and supported him.
Now ‘Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Museum’ is in Inawashiro, his hometown.
And during Covid-19 in 2022,
‘Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Infectious Museum’ has opened
next to the Memorial Museum.
