Who is Chase?
Hello future language learners!
My name is Chase! I am originally from New Jersey in the USA. I moved to Tochigi-ken, Japan in September of 2023. I work as an ALT at a junior high school!
My hobbies are reading, writing, and performing! I love meeting new people, and talking to people from places around the world.
My Experience
I work as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) at a junior high school in Tochigi-ken, Japan. I am also currently studying at Purdue University to receive my Master's in Education. In America, I worked as a Special Needs Paraprofessional/Aide with students on the autism spectrum.
As a tutor and a teacher, I have worked with students from ages 5 to 83! I welcome any student to work with me and achieve their dreams of learning English! Children and adults are welcome!
I'm good at teaching in a fun way where you are at the center of the learning. I make lessons that fit your needs, using creative and interesting methods. I care about different cultures and want everyone to feel comfortable in my class.
Teaching Style
In class, I focus on you and make sure you're involved. I adjust lessons to match how you learn, using creativity and real-life examples. I want you to enjoy learning and feel confident in using the language.
