Hello Everyone,
 
I am Ian (イアン) from Stratford upon Avon, England. Many know it as Shakespeare country. I have been living in Tokyo since 2007 and teaching English for the last 13 years. My current students range in age from 7 to 95 years old, with various abilities and goals.
 
I have a CELTA teaching licence obtained in 2010. And currently teaching at an eikawa, and a Tokyo metropolitan high school. I also have private classes and do business coaching. The classes are also varied and include free conversation, IELTS, TOEIC, Eiken and business.
 
I understand that all students have different learning requirements, the student’s needs are more important than mine. I hope to give you fun and relaxed lessons. However, I will correct grammar and pronunciation mistakes as required. Try the introduction lesson or take a level check and let’s move on from there.

This tutor's cancellation policy

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 1-6hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
