Hello future students, 


ABOUT ME:

It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you, I'm Tyra but you can call me Ty. I was born and raised in the Caribbean for my whole life in a small country now known as Belize. I am a passionate coffee consumer even though the side effects aren't as great as the taste of coffee, I enjoy listening and dancing to music, playing with my dog Lulu, camping, and eating delicious food. 


What are your favorite things to do?

 

 

MY EXPERIENCE:

Now I am going to introduce myself to you as an English Language Instructor. Counting back to 2019, I currently have 4 years of experience teaching and three of those years have been spent teaching English online part-time. I am a TEFL-certified instructor who spent all her early years of schooling being taught the proper form of English structures, pronunciations, writing, spelling, and reading.

 

MY PASSION:

Along with my experience and certification comes my passion. Teaching English is my job but helping my students to grow and reach their learning goals is my passion. In my life, I was shown, taught, and guided by the best teacher I know how to teach others with care, compassion, patience, and understanding. With great knowledge comes great responsibility, as the quote says, so I volunteer in my community teaching women and children and sharing this knowledge with them.

 

OUR LESSON TIME:

I aim to have our lesson time be something you look forward to attending, participating in, and learning through. I hope that you will feel comfortable and relaxed with me as your teacher so that you can benefit fully from our scheduled learning time. Mistakes made in the lesson time will be corrected in a manner to not make you feel small but to help you understand why we wouldn't say it that way and you'll be shown the proper way of usage.

 

CONCLUSION:

I am excited to meet you, whoever you may be, your search for the right tutor may just end here with me and there is only one way to find that out.
