Hi guys!
My name is Anastasija, but you can call me Ana.
I come from Serbia (a small country in Europe) and absolutely love teaching English online.
I am a TEFL-certified tutor with over four years of teaching experience. I understand how hard it can be to start learning a new language, but I know I can help you through it. The most important thing is to relax and never give up!
How Can I Help You?
I will create a personalized learning plan tailored to your specific goals, needs, and proficiency level. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an advanced student, I will adapt to you.
I can provide you with feedback after each class, and we can sum up the main points from our previous class before we continue learning.
I will do my best to make learning a fun and exciting experience in each class. I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.
What Does a Class With Me Look Like?
It all depends on how you want to learn and what makes you feel comfortable. We can have free talk lessons, we can focus on grammar, or reading and vocabulary.
In a free talk lesson, you can choose a topic you want us to discuss, or I can choose it for you. Either way, I will provide you with different options. In this type of class, you can learn in a relaxed setting, and I will make sure you talk as much as possible, asking you follow-up questions.
In a grammar-focused lesson, we can go through different materials to learn more about English grammar. I can guide you through the process and give suggestions on what to improve.
When we practice reading and vocabulary, we can choose an article or a short story online (many students prefer Google News, but you can choose anything you like), and read and discuss it. I will pay close attention to your pronunciation and see if you can understand what we just read. Don't be afraid to ask any questions! That's what we're here for. ;)
I try my best to keep the lessons engaging and enjoyable. Together, we'll work towards improving your English proficiency and boosting your confidence.
What Do I Do Outside of Work?
I studied art at a university in Belgrade, and I work as an artist, ESL tutor, and content writer.
I have been working as a content writer now for over two years and I have a blog about marketing and productivity.
My love for English started when I was a kid. It all started with Cartoon Network. :D
Some of my hobbies are watching American TV shows (Friends is my favorite), spending time in nature, and hanging out with family and friends.
