[SELF INTRODUCTION]
Hi everyone,
I'd like to take this chance to tell you a bit about myself. Thanks for reading my profile. I'm Keiko. Kei and I work in the office. People often say I'm cheerful, fun, and funny. My hobbies are watching movies (NetFlix, Amazon Prime Video...), traveling and walking. If you're new to Japanese, this course will help you get used to it.


[Teaching Background]
  • I've worked in an office for over 10 years and can teach business Japanese.
  • I've taught conversational Japanese to learners from Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, and the USA.
  • I've also got a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the university.
  • I'm also a qualified teacher in the field of art (fine arts) at junior and senior high schools.

[My Teaching Style]
  • My approach to teaching is pretty flexible.
  • I'm happy to help anyone who wants to learn Japanese.
  • My background in art means I can teach anyone who's interested in Japanese culture and subcultures.
  • Firstly, I find out what the student wants to achieve in Japanese and then we put together a learning plan. I'll do my best to help you reach your goals. If you speak Japanese, you can teach in Japanese or English. If you're just starting, you can teach in English.
  • In the first lesson, we'll ask you a few simple questions about learning Japanese.
  • If you're just starting, we recommend using the Irodori textbook (free download) at this URL: https://www.irodori.jpf.go.jp/en/index.html.
  • If you're already familiar with the basics, you can opt for the textbook Minna no Nihongo.
[Type of Lesson]
  • I can teach you a range of different lessons, depending on what you need.
  • I can teach you everyday Japanese as well as the business side of things.
  •  I can teach at a pace that suits you, from beginner to advanced level. Whatever your requirements, I can tailor the lessons to suit you perfectly.
  • I might even look into preparing for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) in the future.

[Future Prospects]
  • I'm looking to find out more about JLPT and EJU preparation.
  • If you need it, we can also put together some special classes for caregiving and other things.
