Hello. My name is Mavis. I am a Plant Scientist with a doctorate degree from the University of Wyoming in the United States of America. I have had teaching practices in the past, and I loved the fulfilling experiences gathered during those times. I taught high school level core mathematics and undergraduate level agricultural courses.
I currently work as a research scientist, and my job responsibilities require me to write many articles in English. As a person who has attained full professional level proficiency in the English language, though a non-native speaker, I would love to teach the language to build the confidence of native and non-native speakers in its complete usage (speaking, writing, listening and reading).
At the beginning of my lessons, I use practical teaching methods to identify inadequacies learners have with the langauge, to enable me to tailor the lessons to the needs of the student. By the end of every lesson, I envision that we would have improved in at least the correct use of tenses and conversations in English.
My lessons can be reserved at least 12 hours ahead of time and cancelled any time before agreed reservation.
