Description
I have an MA degree from Western Ontario University in Ontario, Canada, in History of Philosophy. I am specialized in Early Modern European Philosophy, particularly in the 16th-17th centuries. Among the canonical figures, I am comfortable at talking about Aristotle, Descartes, Leibniz, Locke and Kant. My speciality is on medical philosophy in the 16th-17th centuries. Such topics may include humoural theory, corpse medicine, medicinal cannibalism, embryology and alchemy. I have given presentations on the medicinal cannibalism, philosophy of witchcraft, the Haitian zombies, and Cartesian metaphysics as well as on Ninja Science in pre-modern Japan.
