Talking with penguins
Description
The aim of this class is articulacy. Describing short clips from an animation about a young penguin will help you gain the confidence and vocabulary to speak engagingly, with precision and without hesitation.
As with all my classes, we can adapt the lesson to suit your pace, ability, and requirements.
Basic English
Say what you see! We will watch a story about a penguin. You will talk about the penguin. I will ask you questions about the story. You will learn new words and use them when you talk. You will also practise grammar.
We will study…

Intermediate English
An entertaining animation about a young penguin and his family will help you become a more confident English speaker. This class will help you grow your vocabulary and use it in conversation; it will also help you apply grammar accurately when talking.
You will describe action and appearances in detail, get used to speaking without long pauses, answer questions about the story and give opinions.
Grammar: present simple, present continuous, past simple, past continuous, present perfect
Vocabulary: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, collocations, phrasal verbs
Higher English

You will be asked to narrate the events of the story as they unfold and be taught useful new vocabulary during pauses. In addition, your application of grammar will be monitored and improved. The clip will be repeated from the beginning to apply what you have learnt.
